RAUPEX® UV shield pipe is manufactured using REHAUs high-pressure peroxide method for crosslinked polyethylene (PEXa). RAUPEX® UV shield pipe has a co-extruded PE shield that protects the pipe against ultraviolet light (sunlight) for one year. RAUPEX UV shield pipe is manufactured in the USA by REHAU in a plant using a quality management system that is certified to ISO 9001. RAUPEX® UV shield pipe is for use with the EVERLOC+® compression-sleeve system certified to ASTM F877 and the REHAU F1960 cold expansion fitting system certified to ASTM F1960.
