Fine thread drywall screws are used to secure drywall to 20 to 25 ga steel. Their sharp, self-piercing point allows for easy penetration, and their fine threads provide a strong hold. They feature a countersunk bugle head that tapers down into the drywall after installation to provide a clean, finished look. They are manufactured to the ASTM C1002 standard and are finished in a black phosphate coating.
