The 20SD shower drain was developed in 1968. At that time, most of the plumbing fittings and related products were painted the standard black color. To differentiate the products from the rest of the industrys standard black color, the 20SD was painted with a light blue. Today it is recognized as "TRUE BLUE" in the industry.
