This 1/2 in lead-free mini water hammer arrestor provides economical and effective single fixture protection used in residential water system applications such as dishwasher, washing machine and fast closing positive shutoff valve applications. It is designed to provide automatic, repetitive control of water hammer in residential and light industrial applications and prevent water hammer conditions that are damaging to pipes and appliances. This is a factory air charged, permanently sealed unit with NPT threaded end connection and a straight body design. It should be installed as close to the shock source as possible with one unit each for the hot and cold water lines. The temperature range is 33 to 180 degrees F (0.5 to 82 degrees C) and the operating pressure is up to 150 psi (10.3 bar).
